Reflecting on Community in 6 Words
Reflecting on Community in 6 Words

This workshop will give participants some background on the 6-word memoir form with a short presentation and some examples, before transitioning to building our own memoirs. It will focus on the impact of our communities on our life experience and growth, but all topics for memoir writing are encouraged. There will be a group discussion on the topic, brainstorming, and 1:1 conversations as each student is comfortable. We hope to leave this workshop with some succinct but thoughtful reflections!

Masks are required for participation in this workshop.

This event was brought to you through collaboration with the New Jersey Theatre Alliance; Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation; The Grunin Foundation; Art Pride New Jersey; and Rutgers University Newark.
