Painting with Colored Pencils [Ages 10-16] - Moorestown
The medium of colored pencils offers an excellent stepping stone for budding artists who wish to explore a variety of techniques similar to those used in traditional painting. Colored pencils made from high quality soft pigment can produce unique results unlike any other medium. Students start with a series of fun exercises for discovering various methods of layering, blending, burnishing, underpainting, and overpainting. Soon, they will be ready to create their own masterpieces on special white or toned paper for eye-popping, vivid color renderings!
