This is an On-Site mini camp held at Perkins Center Collingswood.

Due to Covid-19, Perkins Center is taking precautions to limit the spread by following state issued guidelines.

• Class size is limited to 8 students

• Temperatures will be taken upon arrival

• Masks are required

• Supplies will not be shared. Students will have access to personal use supply kits for the duration of the camp.

• Increased handwashing is encouraged by staff/ teachers.

• Increased facility cleaning services have been implemented.

Description: S.T.E.A.M. sessions are 2 hour mini-camps for grade levels 4-6. S.T.E.A.M. stands for science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. These connected educational subjects help participants enhance their concepts of creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration and teamwork to plan, design, create, and build different projects throughout the sessions. Participants will be given different design challenges to complete during each session. They are to follow the Design Process by planning, identifying constraints, brainstorming, building, evaluating, improving, and communicating results. These sessions will be challenging but exciting for participants looking for something engaging during their summer vacation.
