Learn to make plaster molds of your tile designs so that you can make multiple tiles of the same design. If you have tools for clay sculpting, bring them. If not, pottery tool kit can be purchased onsite.

Artist Bio

Chris Bonner is an Assistant Professor of Art at Penn State University Abington Campus. A South Jersey native, Chris earned his master’s degree in ceramics at Northern Arizona University and spent 13 years as the master mold maker at the Moravian Pottery & Tile Works in Doylestown, PA. He has taught mold making workshops at Chester Springs, Brookfield Craft Center, Hood College and looks forward to bringing his knowledge and experience to Perkins Collingswood.
