Welcome to The Senior Stage at Perkins! Here,for ages 55+ hone their theatre performance skills in community with each other. Students create, analyze and embody a dynamic range of characters in improvisation, monologue and partnered scene work. This class culminates in an open performance devised by the student ensemble, in collaboration with the instructor. Get ready to let loose, play and have fun "on-stage" with others!

Instructor Bio
Georgeann Catanella is an actor, educator, director and theatre-lover. She began as a performer, with acting credits from such companies as the Walnut Street Theater, Philadelphia Theatre Co, Painted Bride, The Ritz Theatre, Burlington County Footlighters and Society Hill Playhouse. Following her performance career, Georgeann was a Casting Director and Program Director at Weiss-Barron, designing and developing film and commercial acting courses for actors of all ages. Lastly, she received her MA in Education, expanding her student reach from Kindergarten all the way to adult students.
