"Take an object. Do something to it. Do something else to it." --Jasper Johns [TAB DOWN] This will be the idea and inspiration for learning to see through drawing. Everyday things we look at but do not really will become subjects for our drawings. Students will need to bring household items--anything from an iron to a flashlight to a spoon or fork, and pencils - soft graphite, charcoal, drawing pads, erasers. Backup materials will be provided.
