In this course we will use soft pastel to paint the human figure throughout the class examining human how color and light effects the model and what creative ways we can use color in our figurative drawings. You have the option of working on pastel board, or on a drawing pad of pastel paper tinted paper works very well with this medium. 

Students are asked to bring pastel paper.
