For those of you who have ever wanted to paint using oil paint but need a little more instruction in a relaxed and fun atmosphere, then this course for you! Phil will introduce students to oil painting fundamentals. You will learn to analyze the still life setup and quickly block it in to capture light and shadow while working towards a finished painting on site.
Supplies will be provided.
Onsite classes are small in size for safety.

About the Artist:
PHILIP J. CARROLL is a professional artist He teaches oil and watercolor for Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown and Collingswood, NJ. He grew up in Haddonfield, NJ and lives with his family in Collingswood where he has been a long-term resident. Mr. Carroll is a 1984 graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of The Fine Arts in Philadelphia, PA and studied Art History at The University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA.
Philip Carroll is in many public and private collections including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Philadelphia, PA.
