In this class you will learn to draw and paint what you see using soft pastels. Our subject will be what you want to paint. Emphasis will be placed on color, temperature, value, light and application of soft pastel. You will learn to paint in different lighting situations such as natural and artificial light. Student’s may work from life or photo reference. Pre-recorded demos and slide presentations will be provided as well as individual critiques.  

Onsite classes are small in size for safety.

• Sennelier Soft pastel 

• Nu Pastel

• Soft Vine charcoal

• 3 sheets of Ingres toned paper your chose in any color, except for white,

• 1 sheet of Art Spectrum soft pastel paper.

• Drawing board

• Masking tape(cream colored)
