Master the Art of Oil Painting - Moorestown
Master the Art of Oil Painting - Moorestown

Students frustrated with the details and techniques of oil painting are especially invited to join this class and have their questions answered. From the novice to the advanced painter, every student will develop the skills they need to conquer and fully understand the nuances of oil painting. They will paint landscapes from their own images and still life setups to compose rich and vibrant paintings on canvas and panel. The instructor demonstrates for every class while leading a discussion on composition, color theory, and a host of other topics.

Supply List:

Supply List for Oils ( If you have brushes and paints bring what you have I can suggest additional brushes and materials)

Canvas:

Pre-Stretched canvas, canvas boards, canvas paper, (comes in pads which can be taped and easily transported)

(Keep them to a manageable size so you can transport them more easily)

Synthetic brushes Oils:

Soft Bristle Brushes: Flat size 6,or8 , Filbert size 6 or 8 ,(which is slightly rounded sides),

These are softer than bristle brushes, more like a water color brush but for oils

Soft Rounds For Oil Size 2 or 3 for detail , 4 or 5 round
