Students will explore the meaning of drawing across pencil on paper, mud on a cave wall, ink on silk, and even megabytes on a screen. The class will question the limitations of a subject to only a figure, landscape, or still life. With individual critiques and group assignments, students will be guided into a deeper understanding of the practice of drawing and shown new ways of thinking about it.
