Using water-based painting media like watercolor, gouache, and acrylic, students will learn how to develop ideas, sketch, and create colorful illustrations and paintings. In this workshop-like setting, instructor Kathy Dallara will demonstrate image mapping, color theory, texturing, layering, and how to build idea files.

Each week, new techniques and materials will be introduced and students will have the opportunity to explore at their own pace.

Drawing pencils, kneadable eraser, metal cork backed ruler, HP 140lb watercolor paper, watercolor paints, white artist tape, and watercolor brushes.
