David Gamber - Artist Bio
Like many clay artist my journey started in the sand boxes and mud puddles of my youth, playing with dirt. I have continued to cultivate that sense of play throughout out my education and development as an Artist. I began playing with clay as a teenager, embracing it as my life's work soon after my first ceramics course at Goshen College. Goshen was followed by a year at the University of Louisville and an MFA from Tyler School of Art of Temple University.
Currently I am teaching a various locations in Southern New Jersey and exhibiting work both regionally and nationally. I have been the ceramics teacher at Moorestown Friends School for the past 10 years. And I have been teaching at Perkins Center for the Arts for over 15 years.
