Drawing Animals from Life at Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge

Get up close and personal with some of the residents of Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge in Medford, NJ and capture their anatomical structures and textures in this on-site drawing workshop. Bring a pad of drawing paper or a sketch book and your favorite drawing media to sketch from life. Appropriate for all levels age 16 and up. Admission to Cedar Run is included. 

We invite all participants in this workshop to enter their animal and wildlife inspired artwork into the Perkins Center & Cedar Run 2022 Calendar Contest. A link to upload a photo of your work will provided at the workshop.

Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge is a 171-acre non-profit wildlife refuge, wildlife rehabilitation hospital & nature center on the edge of the New Jersey Pinelands.

Cedar Run includes the Woodford Nature Center, a Wildlife Housing Area with nearly 60 native residents, and a Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital that sees more than 6,000 wild animals each year. The overall mission of Cedar Run is to serve as a community resource on the importance of protecting and enhancing healthy ecosystems for all.
