Drawing has always been a basic tool for any fine artist. Understanding this is elementary. This class will explore any number of approaches to this wonderful aspect of pictorial art. The student will be encouraged to explore the different ways that form can be explained. Simple subjects will be used to achieve this. All drawing media are welcome. Photos, personal concepts (landscape , floral, Still life, portrait) can be entertained. Beginner or intermediate students welcome.Demonstrations will be employed as needed.

• 12x16 sketchbook, Multi purpose paper, 60 to 90 lb. weight
OR 12x16 sketch pad toned paper
• 2b and 6b pencils
• Kneaded eraser
• Box of charcoal drawing sticks
• Conte crayons
