The participant will create a crafted hiking stick with wood carving and wood burning (Pyrography),  two traditional wood decoration skills since ancient times. This workshop uniquely provides hands-on experiences for anyone interested in Eastern Aesthetics for 2D/3D handcraft woodworking skills. Students will first practice wood decoration skills on wood plates and then transfer those skills to making a hiking stick. Each hiking stick is hand-picked from the woods and processed by the instructor. If the participant has other preferred objects over the walking stick, such as a spatula,  they may discuss it with the instructor. Parents and children are welcome to register for this class together.
