Description:

• This class is about Relationships.

   We will explore how one color affects another color, how one shape affects another shape

   and how the placement on the canvas board affects your work . This is a great exercise in honing

   compositional skills and color usage.

Supplies:

• Bristol pad paper and/or canvas boards (can buy a six pack)

• Collage materials 

  Feel free to bring paint chips and scrap book paper, etc.

• Acrylic paint - Brushes  - Glue - Pencils - Scissors

I will be bringing some supplies and samples of my work.

Dolores Poacelli is an abstract painter living in Collingswood NJ.  Dolores has been working in her studio in Philadelphia’s Italian Market neighborhood for the past 26 years.  A winner of the New Jersey State Council of the Arts Fellowship for painting in 2011, her work has been exhibited in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, North Carolina, Delaware and China.  Her work is also in numerous public and private collections including:  SAP Software Corp. in Germany; Morgan-Lewis Legal Firm in Princeton; Jenkins & Martin Law Firm in Texas; Bank of America in Delaware; the State of New Jersey.
