**The teaching pace and style for this class is geared towards people aged 55+, however this class is open to people of all ages and experience levels.

This class provides the perfect opportunity for students to get an overview of pottery technique. Students are invited to get their hands dirty and have fun creating functional pottery pieces. Along with throwing on the wheel, students will learn about handbuilding and glazing. This class may be repeated.

Please note that clay must be purchased at Perkins Center for this class. Clay is $25 per 25lb bag and may be purchased during class. If you own a toolkit you are encouraged to bring it to class, otherwise, pottery toolkits are available for purchase at both Perkins locations. Toolkits are $14 (Basic) and $20 (Deluxe) payments by credit card only.
